Pokemon Go Art Show!

Next Friday! 20 years ago the Pokémon franchise took the video game industry by storm, introducing players to the Pokémon trainer Ash, the gyms, and the hundreds of Pokémon they had to catch and train. From its amazing humble beginnings on the original Game Boy Pokémon in now played by millions of people worldwide through various platforms and gaming systems. Inspiring generations of youths and adults the Pokémon universe’s recognizable red and white Pokéballs have flown from hands and hearts, taking in this juggernaut of brilliant creativity with elation.

For our last show of the year we gathered some of our friends to honor this series with a collection of original pieces interpreting the elements and icons that make the Pokémon series much more than a game, but a culture to fans and enthusiasts from all around the world.

So join us for an exciting night of Pokémon Go, community connection, and vibrations here at our flagship store in San Jose’s Japantown.
